I dunno what I think, in terms of bringing this back, I think its more then possible. Especially now that I may have free'd up some time, but are you guys also down? also im gonna post my (final?) thoughts on this site. |

I'm hoping to try to revive this place for the summer. I think it'd be pointless to try now since most people are in school, but if I could revamp the site for June or July I think SportsGFX could become active again.

Even though ive opend photoshop maybe once in the last year, and I could think of 1,000,000 better things I should be doing right now (i.e exams, culminatings, sleep, working out, etc....) but I want to say that this site was pretty sick.
We had a very open community, accepted everyone, no matter their skill level, and tried to improve them. Way too many graphic sites are too inclusive, so originally coming from those type of forums to here was a breath of fresh air. We lasted a solid 2.5 years (I don't think theres many sports gfx sites - if at all, that build a community from scratch and lasted this long), which is good by any means. I can gurantee when we first started out almost everybody would have written us off and guessed we woulda died in months if not weeks. And there were no members I didn't like - aside from obvious trolls. I can honestly say im proud of this site, and everything we did. I don't think there was EVER anybody who got a complete impression that they werent for for gfx. although we never got as big as we would have liked, i can truly say the blessing was in the strugle. pce out sgfx <3 </3 |

Wow guys, it's really been a while. I've gotta say, I to haven't touched photoshop in roughly a year. I really miss this place. I had a great time being a part of what we had here and really enjoyed watching us develop. I know today if I were to open photoshop right now, these new crazy versions would sit there and laugh at me. That being said I learned a lot here with this group and miss it like crazy.
Take care gents, Leafsfan7 edit: I just spent 20 minutes looking at some of my old work and I'd like to say that this place really helped me develop as an artist. Thank you to everyone who was there for that.
